  • Careful handling of IT equipment is essential. We deploy our own transport fleet to any scenario that we believe might be compromised if an inappropriate carrier choice is made.

  • We aim to handle all deliveries and collection of equipment that has a weight in excess of 30kgs. We describe this as Tail Lift equipment because it has to be handled with trucks that have Tail Lift platforms which all of our vehicles do.

  • We aim to handle the vast majority of collections of below 30kg equipment (we describe these as parcels) because you can never be confident that an evaluating customer has repacked a unit securely. 

  • Where we have to choose to use other carriers (eg domestic parcel deliveries or International shipments) we choose our carriers carefully and package our equipment very securely.

  • If we can stockhold equipment in our European Distribution Centre in NL, then we have cost effective carrier options from there.

  • Our driver engineers provide a competent resource that has a proven customer facing track record.

  • Unpack and set up of tail lift scale product is a frequently asked for service.

  • Repack at the time of collection is also a frequent service.

  • Large quantity deliveries to an exhibition is a frequent service.

  • Getting large format displays upstairs is a frequently requested deliverable.

  • When our delivery or collection has to be co-ordinated with an onsite resource, or has to be in place because the equipment has some planned usage on that day, then we can offer a timed service.

  • Because we know the routes our drivers are taking it is possible on the day or the day  before to set expectations of when the driver will arrive.

  • Transport is an expensive part of a loan & demo management service, and as it is at the heart of the customer experience it is a key part of the service offer. It is therefore crucial that transport can be easily managed to cater for changing circumstances and service requirements. For this reason our systems architecture includes a comprehensive transport planning tool. A lot of resource time is applied to this to make sure that our transport arrangements are cost effective and 100% service requirement compliant.
